01Does Profitech work with organizations in the UAE?
Yes. Profitech works with enterprises and government entities across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC, from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Riyadh. We deliver remotely and on-site, and build with the region's data-residency, compliance, and Arabic-language requirements in mind.
02Where should a UAE organization start with enterprise AI?
Start with an assessment, not a platform. Map where AI could change real work, record a baseline for each candidate use case, and check data, platform, skills, and governance readiness. The first build should be genuinely useful and genuinely finishable; the AI readiness assessment on this site is a quick way to see which phase you are starting from.
03Can AI systems be kept inside the UAE for data residency?
Yes, where the use case requires it. Systems can be designed for in-country cloud regions or your own infrastructure, and model and vendor choices are made within that constraint. Residency is decided during planning, alongside data classification and access control, rather than after a security review.
04How does UAE data protection law affect AI projects?
Any AI system that processes personal data falls under whichever data protection regime applies: Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL) for many private-sector organizations; the DIFC or ADGM frameworks in those free zones; or separate legislation for areas the PDPL excludes, such as government data and separately regulated health and banking data. In practice that shapes which data a system may use, who can access outputs, how long data is kept, and where human review is required. We design for these with your legal team; we do not give legal advice.
